Paige....its all about Paige!

Paige ordered her dress off ebay and had it taylored and customized just for her!

240 cupcakes all placed on vintage plates glued together by wine and martini glasses. (Paige did them all!)

A note: Paige and Richard have been coming in the bakery ever since I have had my doors open. There we're times Paige was in twice a day. She is one of my most unique customers. She has an extreme sense of style, creativity, and always looks like a million bucks. It was an honor to be a part of their wedding this weekend. It was by far one of the most decked out weddings I have ever seen. Our cupcakes and cake have never looked better, thanks to Paige's showcasing and theatrical flair.

Palisades State Park

This is one of my favorite places to deliver a cake. It is one of the most breathtaking places in the Iowa City area to have a wedding. The Motley Cow catered the event and did an amazing job bringing local, farm-fresh food to the table.

We did a fresh lemon curd raspberry cake. I am pretty sure there was none to spare!

I even sneaked in a hike with the kids after the cake was safely placed

Evan tops our citrus poppy bread with a warm citrus glaze.

Even the head baker needs a boost every once in a while.

These shots are just stunning. They were lovely to work with.

This cake was difficult mostly because of all the overlapping in the piping technique.

It was a brain teaser, to say the least.
